HISTORY
Project Vulturius Maestus started just as the legendary Fast Tracker II appeared on my computer, which was a unique arranger at that time, that is 1996. As I have analyzed hours and hours the demoscene modules (the .mod files, that I've listen to using a Covox plug :)) I began to get the hang of it. I have written several hundred songs, over a dozen of which is still available to download. At start I treated tracks, patterns and even whole compositions as a humongous proving ground. I wanted to know how to express my mind with sounds.
1996-2002
As time passed on the technology made progress, and all music software became more subtle and exquisite. In 2003 (after a year of search) I decided to change my DAW to Renoise, which I use till the present day. While creating music I use a lot of other software, but the basis for it is always the tracker armed with various plug-ins, instruments and filters. I also began to learn about technical aspects of making music, how to control the LFO section and track automation, how to use limiters, compressors, side-chain, gate and other dynamics processors.
2003-2006
Drum'n'bass, dubstep and other similar genre took bigger and bigger part in my life and that is why they have dominated my work in past few years. To distinguish the difference in the atmosphere and genre of my music I used both nicknames Vulturius Maestus (1996-2009) and Vulturius (2006 till today). Before the end of 2009 I published two albums. 'Electrovulturism' which contained electronic music, ambient, instrumental and dubstep, and 'Vultechspheric' with intelligent dnb, techmo/atmospheric and jungle stuff. The third (unreleased yet) album is called 'Extra-Low-Vultage' and has a similar content.
